 David Ian Clerget (b. 1984), from West Lafayette, Indiana, is currently pursuing a B.S. in Music Education degree at Ball State University. He has composed works in various genres including wind ensemble, orchestra, chorus, mixed chamber groups, and electronic music. Recently, his Firefly (ca. 15:18) for wind ensemble, was premiered by the Burris High School Band, in Muncie, Indiana. His favorite composers include Mahler, Strauss, Holst, Debussy, Vaughan Williams, Franck, Elgar, Wagner, Vangelis, and Claudin de Sermisy.
