The texts were drawn from Wendy Doniger O'Flaherty's translation of the Rig Veda, and were selected by saxophonist George Wolfe.

In alternation, Narrator #1 reads passages from the Hindu Rig Veda, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads, and Narrator #2 reads passages taken from Genesis, Psalms, Isaiah, the Gospels, Acts, Corinthians, 1st John and the book of Revelation.
