When a person of understanding reaches the additional enlightened notion that, in order to teach others, they must compassionately invent bridges to connect others' position of ignorance to their own position of knowledge, then the following occurs: the person of understanding becomes a liar, a hypocrite, and/or a priest, and a religion is born. Cold facts are ultimately better than mythologies. They make more of true converts.
In a capitalistic democracy, the touchy-feely approach to making knowledge-bridges is called "being a teacher." The givers of facts are called "irritants."
